This is a large, comprehensive and integrated network information management system that involves multiple technologies (e.g. computer, communication, database, office automation, etc.) and multiple sciences (e.g. management, sociology, psychology, economics, systems engineering, etc.). Its users include Chengdu Municipal Quality and Technical Supervision and its branches, relevant application organizations, enterprises, public institutions and the public. Its network not only covers Chengdu Municipal Quality and Technical Supervision and its branches in the ten districts and ten counties (municipalities), but also will be aligned with international practices. This system consists of several comprehensive WNA subsystems for information management, office automation, information release, decision-making support, integrated wiring, etc.. All such subsystems will be seamlessly connected. This system is developed using the advanced B/S mode (JSP technology) and enables the focus of functions of government agencies to switch from rigorous control to macro guidance and from administration to administrative service. It provides a WEB site and information release platform for Chengdu Municipal Quality and Technical Supervision and provides enterprises, public institutions and the public with relevant information and services relating to quality and technical supervision work.
