Based on the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China and its enforcement regulations and through streamlining and recreation of the existing food safety regulation work process and using such advanced technologies as e-map, GPS, PDA, netbook, wireless communication, IoT, etc., a comprehensive information system is built that covers all the operations in relation to food production safety regulation. This system exactly reflects the food production safety regulation requirements of and reports and summarizes real-time data from basic regulatory authorities at various levels, helps regulatory workers at various levels regulate and supervise over food production activities and strengthens alarms analysis and monitoring by using the short-message platform to send regulatory and alarm information. It is connected to the certificate handling service counter of the Government Affairs Service Center of Chengdu Municipality for administrative approval purpose. They are seamlessly connected at such stages as filing, checking, approval, certificate issuing, etc., without any process or data missing during the whole process. It is interfaced with the operations system of Chengdu Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute for information sharing and real-time uploading of relevant product inspection data, thus providing bases for timely identification of problems and timely implementation of regulatory measures. In addition, it is also interfaced with the operations system of the Training Center of Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision for data exchange and sharing, thus providing information about such personnel as examiners, regulators, assistant regulators, inspectors, etc and ensuring that they hold valid work permits.
