Project Background
Tracing, counterfeiting, anti-channel conflicts, efficient logistics, quick inventory counting, smart warehouse and smart store of garments has always been the pursuit of big garment manufacturers. IoT RFID technology is one of the main tools used by the world's garment industry for upgrading. Currently the world’s most high-end garment manufacturers use the RFID technology to build a complete production, logistics and tracing system.
System Outline
This system integrates the applications of such information technologies as RFID, network, computer, database, mobile telecommunication, etc. in all stages of the supply chain.
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a non-contact automatic identification technology. It uses radio waves to identify marks on target objects to identify radio data and read relevant information. It uses the uniqueness of RFID label identity by hanging, sticking, embedding or implanting a label in each garment. Combined with the rapid multi-label reading technology (which can identify hundreds of garments in one time), it significantly improves supply chain efficiency and thoroughly solves some problems of the garment industry, e.g. garment identification, precise boxing, counterfeiting, anti-channel conflicts, quality tracing, etc.
Analysis of the operations process of the garment industry shows that key application processes are mainly consists of label implanting for goods shipping, sending to distribution center, warehousing at distribution center, inventory count management, goods selection and distribution and store sales, etc.
