Chongqing CNG Cylinder E-label Safety Management System uses the internationally advanced IoT technologies (including RFID technology, microelectronics technology, computer technology, network technology, wireless telecommunication technology, automatic control technology, etc.) to establish RF e-label ID cards for CNG cylinders for full-process tracking, supervision and dynamic closed management of cylinders. The system, through a computerized electronic archive and database for CNG gas cylinders, provides each gas cylinder with one e-label which serves as the unique “e-ID card” for the gas cylinder. It automatically collects data/information about the cylinder at all stages from production all the way through installation, registration, certificate issuing, use, inspection and scrapping and centrally stores such information at a single data center. This is a scientific and reasonable gas cylinder safety management system that enables computerized automatic safety supervision over disqualified gas cylinders in such aspects as illegal refitting, unlicensed use, validity period expiration, leakage detection, etc., and provides full-process dynamic enclosed supervision of gas cylinders via the “one file for one cylinder” and “one certificate for one cylinder” policy. A data center is established at the Information Center of Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. It is the only data center of its kind in Chongqing Municipality and consists of eight subsystems for label issuing, supervision, manufacturer, complete-vehicle maker, refitting factory, recharging station, inspection organization and outbound service, respectively.
